本日お伺いしたお客様のグランドピアノ。

ワインカラーの木目調ポリエステル塗装です。

その上から木で花の装飾を施し、更にポリエステル塗装を施しています。

The music stand with marquetry finished with polyester.  Beautiful finish.

近くで見ると如何に厚く塗られているかがわかります。

だいたい0.5mmくらいですが、この場合はもっとありそうです。

塗ったというよりプラスチックの板でも貼り付けたかのようです。

ピアノの塗装をするようになって、ピアノの塗装のハイレベルぶりがよくわかりました。

If you look this closer, you can see how thick the finish is.  The thickness of polyester finish is about 0.4 millimeter.  This one looks even more, and it even looks like attached plastic plate on it.
