沖縄は台風で、昨日と今日は仕事に鳴らなかったのですが、せっかくなので出勤して先日入荷したYAMAHAのU3Aを調律しました。

中を開けてみてびっくりしたのは、調律カードに記録が一切なかったことです。本当にピッチが半音下がっていて、チューニングピンもがっちり堅かったので、もしかしたらこのピアノを調律したのは私が初めてだったのかもしれません。

そして、写真のように弦もピンもフレームもピカピカです。

これから外装をきれいにして、鍵盤とアクションを調整、そしてもう一度調律したらかなり良い状態になると思います。そのときはまたブログでご紹介しますので、是非見に来てください。

A big typhoon was on Okinawa island and the store was shut down for two day.  Well, just waiting is a waste so I came to the store to tune this YAMAHA U3A I bought recently.

Surprisingly, the piano had no record of piano tuning.  The pitch was almost a half note lowered and the tuning pins are tight, so maybe I am really the first piano tuner to tuned this piano.

The frame, the pins and the strings are shiny like the picture.

I will be working on refurbishing, regulating the keys and the action and tuning once more and piano will be brilliantly good instrument.  I will report on this weblog later.  I hope it to be seen as many piano lovers as possible.
