アップライトピアノのアクションの部品交換修理をしました。これはバットコードといい、ハンマーを早く元の位置に戻し連打の準備をするために必要なものです。経年劣化による破損もしくは特定のピアノにキレやすいものがある場合に交換します。今回は後者の方でしょうか。

Upright piano action repair.  This is called butt spring cord that helps hammers to return their rest position, and thus they can be ready for next strike, repetition.  They are broken when they get old or some pianos have week material.  In this case is the latter, I guess.
