The piano parts I ordered to a German supplier has just arrived. They will be used for the grand piano I currently workjng on.

The hammer head this time is Abel. Its “Natural Felt” hammers have good reputation among some piano technicians. It is first time for me and I am excited about this. One well experienced tech told me that Abel’s hammer heads on the highest treble part has thin felt on top although the felt quality itself is slightly better than Renner’s. I could agree with that, but it wasn’t too bad.

So exciting to try this hammer head, which is also my first attempt. Well, I need to finish refurbishing the body anyway!
