秋になると、ビル・エバンスとエディ・ゴメスのIntuitionというアルバムが無性に聴きたくなり、何度となく聞いています。最初のInvitationというスタンダードナンバーがめっちゃくちゃかっこよくて、個人的にはビル･エバンスのナンバーワンではないかと思うくらい傑作です。本当、大好き。それ以外にも電子ピアノを使って一人共演とか、先進的なピアニストだったんだなあと感じてしまいます。

I love to listen to Bill Evans’ recording of “Intuition” in fall.  The first track “Invitation” is indescribably good piano arrangement that I personally think the best of Bill’s.  In this recording, he also uses electric piano along with acoustic.  He was really an innovative musician.

このIntuition、昔Jazz Life誌でスコア化されたのを持っているのですが、難しすぎて弾けません。

There is a transcription of this Invitation by a Japanese magazine “Jazz Life”.  It is too difficult to play.

かっこいい・・・。
