What is wrong?

The most important thing is that all of the keys produce appropriate sound as a piano. If any of them doesn not sound well, it may be in trouble.

Finding wrong part

First of all, press every key of the piano, from the lowest note to the highest, or the other way. If any of the key does not sound well, mark it. Although you release the key and if it does not come back to its rest position, mark it as well.

Noises

If you hear any unwanted sound along with the piano tone, check the key that produce the noise and mark it. Also, remove everything on top of the piano. They may be noises by resonance.
